AMD Announces List Processor Supports Use of Oculus Rift



The era of virtual reality (VR) on the PC is increasingly widespread, with the presence of the Oculus Rift VR device. AMD FX 9370 with a base clock 4,4GHz / 4,7GHz turbo clock (8 cores)
    
AMD FX 9590 with a base clock 4,7GHz / 5,0GHz turbo clock (8 cores)

Although still carrying the socket legacy, AM3 +, the fifth processors on still capable paired with an Intel Core i5 4590. Oculus Rift device might require a new processor with the new technology as well. Especially when viewed from the age between Intel Core i7 2600K and AMD FX 8350, Intel first introduced in early 2011 ago, while AMD FX 8350 introduced in late 2012, so it could have promoted technology Intel Core i7 2600K is outdated.
