Hard Disk 14TB of Western Digital Pitch Ready Next Year

What is the capacity of the hard disk on a computer or laptop used by consumers today? The average would reply with a range of 500GB to 4TB. But sometimes we still feel less capacity hard disk owned by the current, as may many office data or personal data stored.

Well for those of you who still feel less capacity hard disk on your computer or laptop devices, probably the most hard disk from Western Digital this could be the right choice. As quoted by Viral Tech, an American company finally announced a hard disk with a capacity of a whopping 14TB.

Even the hard disk from Western Digital is a predicate hard disk with the largest capacity for the consumer market. This hard disk uses technology helium gas, which is lighter than air, and we know the gas is also used to fly a hot air balloon.

Western Digital spokesperson reveals that using helium gas technology on their hard disk, can improve power efficiency. The age of the hard disk so that it can be longer than the hard disk in general.

Previous Western Digital hard disk itself has released to the consumer market with a capacity of 12TB. Likewise with Seagate to release a similar product with a similar capacity. Despite early SSD with a capacity of 60TB of Seagate, but the hard disk is still the choice of many consumers for a more affordable price.

Unfortunately, Western Digital did not say when the hard disk which can contain a lot of data and files is marketed. For the release date is still unclear, but it certainly will be present around mid-2017.
